“ First time at Kings's Southern Delight! My husband and I came in from a long day in NYC and were very hungry. I recommended this restuarant to others and decided to try before heading home to CT. Cute place with a few tables to eat in. The place smelled delicious, many choices to choose from... ribs, meatloaf, smothered pork chops, baked chicken, baked turkey wings with all the sides. Redina the owner was there with her mother. Very friendly and accommodating. Looking for comfort food, check them out! ”
“ The Best Darn Turkey Wings I ever had besides my own. I love love the collard greens, Mac N Cheese, black eyed peas, cabbage, yams and string beans! My family mostly order the fried chicken, beef liver, and the veggie platter. The prices are pretty reasonable and if you catch the lunch special, even better. We go at least once a week. This is real authentic southern food... North Carolina Style! The staff are always pleasant! I just enjoy interacting with good people that displays excellent customer service!!! ”
“ First time here the line was to the door. The service was slow but steady with most people buying multiple meals like myself. When I got to the counter to order the service was friendly and the portions are generous with fair prices to match. As a born and bred southerner from NC who makes collard greens as a regular week night as a side, the food here is legit. A splash of vinegar and some hot sauce and I was good to go. I tasted a bit of everything but surprised at how good the potato salad was. The cornbread tasted like zhuzhed up boxed Jiffy mix but that didn't stop me from enjoying my the rest of my food. The yams aren't syrupy sweet, nothing was overly salted but everything was pretty will seasoned. ”

“ Turkey was excellent,chicken wings excellent Rice excellent!! Can't tell you about the the greens because the young man goofed up on that and I got no greens. Mac n cheese not my style. It's the dry oven baked style with no creaminess at all. That's normally how I get it at Jamaican spots and I'm it into it but you may like it Prices are fair You aren't eating inside so be prepared for an order to go. Staff were definitely friendly as were the other customers. Go here!! ”

“ Was in the area so I decided to check out this spot before ending back to the Friendly staff! The turkey wings are very good. I really enjoyed it. The ribs are tendar, and seasoned well. I have eaten ribs from many spots before, but I must say the ribs here are better than most. I was even given one extra rib for good luck. The sides of collard greens, and macoroni, and cheese were good as well. You get a piece of corn bread with every meal. The corn bread is nice, and moist. The sweet potatoe pie was okay; the crust was a little hard though. I was told they have different meats, different days of the week, so check on what they are serving that day before you go. ”
“ Another great spot near my neighborhood. The staff is great, the food is delicious. I just wish I could get it delivered but I live to far (not even sure if they deliver). There is meter parking which I mention because sometimes the lines can be long. They have an app card where after 10 visits you get a free dinner. *NOTE that's 10 visits not 10 dinners. If you purchase 3 dinners at the same time that's 1 visit. I would recommend King's Southern Delight in Mt. Vernon, NY (because there appear to be another one in Ga.). About the picture of pork chop dinner. Half the meal was already eaten by the time I remembered to take a pic. There were 2 prom chops. LOL ”
